DM Tools

I'm a techie person, and end up using my computer to do a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to running campaigns. Here are some tools I will likely end up providing reviews for as this blog progesses

Inspiration Pad Pro 2.0 will be doing most of the heavy lifting in generating the random rolls for the NPC's.
It took me less than 3 hours to create the table files to emulate Gygax's tables from the DMG.
It comes preloaded with some random tables of use, including a table to generate random book titles and contents to add flavour ro character discoveries.

Role-Play Online (RPOL) is the place where i've been doing most of my online role-playing for the last few years. Dice rollers, storage space for a map, places to store character sheets. It's one of the best places i've found to play online.

Obsidian Portal - Campaign Wiki is a place for Game-Masters to setup a space to store notes for campaigns in a wiki format. The interface is quick and easy, and you can get up to speed with your campaign rather quickly. They offer a number of different services for free and provided tiered access to a number of other features, including more graphic storage space and on-site forums. My current campaign can be found here.
